Cover Studio

Design a cover, and make it your book’s real cover.

Claim your desk

The Cover Studio is a real design canvas for your book cover. Start from a true 2:3 book-cover shape, set your title and your name in any of a dozen typefaces, and lay in art, color, and shapes until it looks like a book you would pick up. Bring your own image or pull from a library of public-domain art from the Met, the Smithsonian, and the Cleveland Museum of Art.

When the cover is ready, export it as a print-ready PNG or JPEG, or a web-sized file, and download it or have it emailed to you. Attach it to a piece or a series and it becomes the real cover: it shows on the reading page, in the feed, and in your library, and it leads your EPUB, PDF, and Word downloads. It is part of Pro.

What it does

  • Design on a true book-cover canvas with text, image, shape, and color layers.
  • Pull public-domain art from the Met, the Smithsonian, and the Cleveland Museum of Art, or upload your own.
  • Export a print-ready PNG, JPEG, or web file, downloaded or emailed to you.
  • Attach it to a piece or series and it becomes the real cover everywhere, exports included.
