Start freeChapters
Anyone can join a Chapter and take part for free. Running your own Chapter is part of Pro, including the member cap, invites, announcements, and the group forum. You keep running it even if your subscription ends.
Competitions
Entering is free, and your rank, blended score, and the vote tally are always visible. Pro adds the per-metric breakdown behind the engine's portion, so you can see exactly where an entry landed. Your free Pro trial includes it.
Forum
It is free for everyone. Threads carry light reactions, an author can mark the reply that helped, and each Chapter has its own members-only forum on top of the global one.
Messages
Reading and replying are free. Starting a direct message is part of Pro. Threads carry read receipts, typing, mute and archive, search, and block-from-thread, with links and emoji in every message.
Reading
All of it is free. Rate and review books, keep private or public craft notes, share a note to the Reading forum, and let your continue-reading position follow you across devices.
Real-time co-editing
Track changes is part of Pro, and your free Pro trial includes it. Real-time co-editing is available when you subscribe. A co-author edits directly; a suggester proposes changes against your working copy while your published piece stays clean.
Collaborations
Invite a collaborator into a piece, hand off or revoke access, and find every shared piece in one folder. Pair it with real-time co-editing to write together, or trade tracked suggestions on your own time.
