Fact Placeholder Tracker

Never file with a TK still in the copy.

Claim your desk

The Fact Placeholder Tracker finds the notes you leave yourself in a draft: the TK that stands for a fact still to come, the doubled TKTK, a lowercase tk, and a run of XX where a figure should go. It pulls them all into one list so nothing you meant to fill in ships unfilled.

Each marker shows its type, how urgent it is, and where it sits in the piece. Resolve one with a note, undo it, or mark a false positive gone. Scan a single piece or a whole folder at once, with each hit tagged to its piece. When you are ready to report, copy the unresolved ones out as a plain checklist. It is part of Pro.

What it does

  • Finds TK, TKTK, lowercase tk, and runs of XX left in your draft.
  • Shows each marker’s type, urgency, and place in the piece.
  • Resolve with a note, undo, or clear a false positive, one marker at a time.
  • Scans one piece or a whole folder, and copies the unresolved ones as a checklist.
