The Inverted Pyramid Analyzer checks the structure of a news story. It looks at whether the lead carries the news, whether who, what, when, where and why are answered early, and whether each paragraph carries less weight than the one before.
You get a structure score rated Strong, Solid or Developing, a five Ws check, a read on your lead sentence and its length, and a paragraph-by-paragraph density read. It flags Ws buried at the end and lists what to tighten. Paste a draft or load a piece.
