Getting started
Searching Inkbreaker
Find writers, worlds, exercises, and pieces, including by tag, and filter your results.
The search bar sits at the top of the home page. Start typing and a quick dropdown shows the closest matches across writers, pieces, worlds, and exercises.
The full results page
Press Enter, or select See all results, to open the full search page. There you get more than the quick matches:
- Writers whose name or handle matches.
- Published worlds that match.
- Exercises that match.
- Pieces, shown as cards you can page through.
Searching by tag
Search matches a piece by its title or by any of its tags. So a search for horror finds pieces tagged horror even when the word is not in the title.
You can also filter by tag. Open Filters and add a tag to narrow to pieces carrying it.
Sorting and paging
For pieces, you can sort by relevance, newest, or most reactions, and page through the full set of matches.
Filters
Filters live in one place. Open them from the filter icon on the search bar, the Filters button on the results page, or the filter icon on your feed. The panel holds:
- Tags, to narrow to pieces carrying the tags you add.
- Your content filters: hide NSFW, cap the rating, or hide pieces with specific trigger warnings.
Tags apply to the search or feed you are on. Content filters are saved and apply everywhere you browse. See Content warnings and filters for the full list of content filters.
